Adopt a Small Pet
The SPCA Pet Adoption Center is now open for public visits! Please note we have recently updated to a new & improved paperless, appointment-based adoption process for your convenience. You can now automatically place a pet on hold — wherever you are — by using our electronic adoption survey.
Step 1: Submit an adoption survey
Use the Specific Pet survey to put a particular pet on hold for you, or use the General Process survey to get a head start as you look for your match.
Step 2: Schedule your appointment
Learn more about the pet you’re interested in and continue with the adoption process, or sit down and discuss what you’re looking for so we can find you a great match.
Step 3: Finalize your adoption!
Once you’ve met the pet at your appointment and signed the papers, it's official! Your new best friend will be ready to go home with you right away.

Let's be best friends — we won't budgie on that!
Our names are Vani and Cy, and we've found ourselves in a bit of a pickle without a home to call our own! We can't wait to fly free from the shelter and become part of a family where we belong. We are the best of buds, so our adoption is a package deal. Being by each other's sides means we'll never feel lonely, and you'll love watching us hang out and chat with each other! We like to spend or days chewing on our perches and playing with our toys. We're both used to flying free around the house, and we love it! — So our wings are not clipped, and we'll definitely need a safe place to fly so we don't accidentally get lost. If you think you could use a couple of feathery friends like us, look no further! Take us home today!
