Other Small Animals:
The SPCA rehomes a variety of other small animals including: Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rats and snakes.

Adoption fees vary and some small pet adoption fees may include the enclosure.

*The higher adoption fee for puppies (who are often adopted quickly) helps offset the SPCA's cost of care for pets who stay in the shelter longer. The SPCA of Wake County's work is supported entirely by donations and adoption fees. The SPCA does not receive tax money or funding from national organizations.
