Show us the greens!

Cilantro, lettuce, kale, bok choy... we always eat our veggies. Our greens don't cost very much but unfortunately our spay/neuter surgery is quite expensive, just as much as a cat in fact!

Your "green" donation will ensure the health of the SPCA's rabbits and prevent unwanted pregnancy.

Spice, pictured right, is currently up for adoption at the SPCA with his mother, Sugar. The children in their previous family would no longer care for them so mom and dad dropped them off at the SPCA. They are a bundle of fun and are looking for a family who can give them the care and exercise they need.

You can help other bunnies like Sugar and Spice by contributing and becoming an honorary "Bunny Buddy".

Be a Bunny Buddy

The SPCA Bunny Buddies (the volunteers who help clean cages, let the bunnies out to play, etc) want to give you a chance to be an honorary "Bunny Buddy" through this fund.

We Bunny Buddies become quite attached to these floppy-eared fur balls but are thrilled when they find a new loving home.

Check out our photo album to see more cute pictures of our success stories!

Did you know?

-Rabbits are intelligent, social animals and make wonderful indoor companions
-Rabbits can be litterbox trained
-They can live to be 7-10 years old
-Rabbits can purr when contented
-Like cats and dogs, rabbits need to be spayed or neutered to improve health and behavior
-Rabbits like to play with toys, such as cardboard boxes, wire cat balls, hard plastic baby keys, untreated willow baskets
-Rabbits need to be protected from predators, poisons, temperature extremes, electrical cords and rough handling
-Rabbits need to have things of their own to chew on (or they might nibble your stuff)
